I was very happy with what I learnt on the 301 Google Analytics course. I has heard of the areas covered in it before, but never got hands on use or a good understanding of them. Now that I've done the course I not only understand how and when to use them to their best ability but also how to use them. There were several things that I has been wanting to know which led to eureka moments during the day when I understood them and saw how beneficial they would be. Highlights for me included filters (particularly understanding how to write regex), subdomain tracking and custom variables.

Tasks were provided and the course was well structured, with plenty of flexibility to cater for our specific needs and questions. I thoroughly recommend the course, but note that it helps to have an intimate knowledge of your websites code beforehand - otherwise it can be easy to get lost without something practical to apply the information to.
